Annual Youth Exhibition
Since 2006, MOPA has held an annual juried exhibition showcasing the photographic talents of local youth. Every year, students are encouraged to submit work that responds visually to a particular theme. The winning entries are selected for their originality and artistic interpretation of that year's topic.

Artwork:
- All submissions must be photographic arts. We accept the following:
- Photography (digital photography, film photography, photo collage, polaroid, cyanotype, mixed media, three dimensional, etc.)
- Video (documentary, fiction, abstract, stop motion, animation, etc.)
- Artwork must address the theme of "boundaries"
- Artwork must be created within the 2016-17 school year
- All submissions must be original artwork, but may borrow images (for example, a collage made of magazine photos)
Permission to Participate:
In order to participate in MOPA's Annual Juried Youth Exhibition, all students must have permission from a parent or guardian.
- Authorization form can be completed online here and will be emailed to registered users along with the receipt of submission information.
Submission Requirements:
- File size* requirements:
- Longest side of photo must be between 2400 px - 4600 px
- Image files must be under 4 MB, audio/video/PDF files must be under 25 MB
- To submit:
- Digital Artworks (digital photos & videos): Submit the digital file. MOPA will print your image for display.
- Non-Digital Artworks (collage, mixed media, 3D, etc.): Submit a photo or scan of the artwork. MOPA may ask you to bring in the original for display or may print your uploaded image for you.
