Computer Art - Beg./Adv.
We are an award-winning program not just in Computer Art but in photography, video/film, animation, music, and website design. We focus more on the artist/photographer and see the camera as a tool for storytelling. Any camera/cell phone is welcome in class. We just want students to improve daily.
In the years 2019-20, all 29 BVH students passed took the AP 2D Art & Design Exam with a Photography or Digital Art Emphasis. They were the first in our school district. All 29 students passed with a score of 3 or higher (One 5; Fourteen 4s; Fourteen 3s), and will get college credit.
Mr. Lim's students have won, been exhibited, or will be exhibited at the Congressional Art Awards in Washington, D.C., Museum of Photographic Arts, Association of Texas Photography Instructors, San Diego County Fair, Riverside Art Museum, San Diego Art Institute, Bonita Museum, City Gallery @ San Diego City College, San Diego History Center, iVIE Awards & Student Film Festival, Athenaeum Art Center, and the Chula Vista Film Festival. Cheers!
